Maybelline The Rocket mascara review

I recently purchased Maybelline's the rocket mascara, and I thought I would do my first review on this blog! If you like this review and would like to see more, please comment below. Don't forget to subscribe, I try to post a blog everyday! Thank you! (: xoxo -prettynpink

This is what the packaging looks like. I purchased it in the color
very black, but it also comes in blackest black and brownish black.
You can also buy the waterproof version for the same price in the
colors brownish black and very black. (see link below)

Before The rocket mascara
After The rocket mascara
Okay so as you can tell it made my eyelashes a lot longer...I will be repurchasing this mascara and it is definitely another one of my favorites. The brush isn't flimsy and the bristles are far enough apart so it will separate your lashes (which a lot of mascara applicators don't do for my lashes.) I bought this at Wal-Mart for $5.94 . Here is a link to Wal-Mart's online website if you would like to purchase it online or view details.  http://www.walmart.com/ip/Maybelline-The-Rocket-Volum-Express-Rocket-Washable-Mascara-0.3-fl-oz/22137495 The Rocket waterproof mascara

Chase your dreams

So a topic that has been coming up a lot in my life lately is following your dreams. Not settling for next best or mediocrity. If you have a dream, regardless of how small or insignificant it seems to other people, follow it...chase it, hold it tight and let it guide you. Don't let anyone, not even close friends or family talk you out of your dreams. If you are thinking well...I want to do this but I am scared because dot dot dot that just means it is going to be that much more amazing when you finally accomplish it. Think about it, you have nothing to lose! You can only go up from here. It is better to try and know then to never try and wonder what could have been. Easier said than done, I know. I have set a few dreams and goals for myself, but I seem to be talking myself out of them every chance I get. So maybe we can all take this journey together and achieve our wildest dreams ! Lose that weight, go for that job, enroll in college, try out for that team, go talk to that cute boy or girl from school, become a magazine editor, move to New York, eat better...whatever it may be you CAN do it !!!! Next time you start talking yourself out of your dreams remember this quote... "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." - Walt Disney

Benefits of drinking green tea

Lately I have been drinking ALOT of green tea, and when I say a lot I mean three or four cups a day, (for me this is a lot of tea). I just recently discovered that green tea has some amazing benefits. Here are a few of them; Clears up skin, boosts your metabolism, anti aging, digestion, cold and flu, anxiety, relieves joint pain, nausea, promotes a better sleep, hydrates, gets rid of bad breath, prevents cancer, and protects your liver. Although these are just a few benefits of drinking green tea I thought I'd share. (:

Hair Care Routine

So if you guys are anything like me, you are constantly coloring, straightening, curling, waving, and teasing your hair. My hair has definitely been through a lot over the years BUT I refuse to stop playing with my hair...here are some products I use to restore my hair! Please comment below if you have a request for a blog that you would like to see next.(: Thank you !

So starting off with shampoo and conditioner, I love L'Oreal's ever
pure color care moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. You can get
this at your local grocery store for about $15.00. They also have one
for volume, smoothing, and a deep replenishing one for really damaged hair.

Garnier Fructis triple nutrition shampoo and condition is really good if
you want the results without paying as much as L'Oreal. The shampoo
is $ 4.97 for the 25.4 oz. and the conditioner is $2.96 for the 13 0z.
This shampoo contains three oils that restore your hair; Shea, olive and avocado.

After your shower when your hair is damp I highly recommend
putting a dime size amount of this Moroccan oil in it. This oil has
done wonders for my hair, it smells good, it air dries my hair faster and
leaves a shine. Although this is on the pricey side, it's well worth it. I get
mine off of Amazon because my hair dresser doesn't carry it anymore.
If you use Amazon, prices will vary depending on which seller you choose.
I would try to find a salon on Amazon and make sure you read reviews !

If you put your hair through any kind of heat I would recommend
you get a heat protectant. This is just a grocery store heat protectant
but it does work! $3.98 for this bottle at Wal-Mart .

Beginners guide to makeup

Hey guys !  I know a lot of people want to wear makeup but they have no idea where to start. I remember being pretty overwhelmed when I first started to look for makeup, so many options! So I thought I would help you and narrow it down. Of course you can go to Wal-Mart, Walgreens, CVS, and Target . But here are some higher end makeup products for you beauty beginners. (: Enjoy!!

This Urban Decay Naked Basics palette is just $ 27.00 at Sephora. http://www.sephora.com/naked-basics-palette-P376213?skuId=1458157

For mascara I would recommend going with a clear or brown. Black might be a little too bold for you at first. This Sephora collection clear mascara is $12.00 at Sephora . http://www.sephora.com/clear-defining-mascara-P312912?skuId=1425446
A brown mascara also from Sephora for $15.00 http://www.sephora.com/full-action-extreme-effect-mascara-P278807?skuId=1228063
Black mascara for you bolder beauty newbies http://www.sephora.com/full-action-extreme-effect-mascara-P278807?skuId=1228063

Eyeliner for a beginner can be pretty intimidating; my first time applying eyeliner I poked myself a few times. I hated the way black liner looked on me and I felt like a raccoon (now that is all that I wear) but then I was very intimidated by it. So I would recommend a brown liner.
Urban Decays 24/7 eyeliner jumbo pencil $20.00 http://www.sephora.com/24-7-glide-on-shadow-pencil-P280408?skuId=1306133

Show your pout some love ! Some of my favorite balms, butters and glosses. Michael Korres Lip butter $20.00  http://www.sephora.com/24-7-glide-on-shadow-pencil-P280408?skuId=1306133
Sephora Collection glossy gloss, on sale for $7.00 http://www.sephora.com/glossy-gloss-galore-P310715?skuId=1383629 Josie Maran Argan Lip Treatment $18.00 http://www.sephora.com/argan-lip-treatment-P268209?skuId=1267145
